SCIENTIFIC COMMUNICATOR

 

What are the details?

Position type: part-time or contract (0 - 20 hrs/week dependent on project availability)

Location: remote (North America preferred)

​

What are the requirements?

• Be passionate about the DTC mission and values

• Bachelors degree with a STEM focus or equivalent work experience

  • Enrollment/ completion of MSc or PhD is an asset

  • Additional training in visual arts/ visual communication is an asset

• Strong demonstratable visual communication skills - demonstrated by a portfolio

  • Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

  • Proficiency in InDesign is an asset

• Highly proficient writing skills

  • Scientific publications are an asset

• Ability to work in a team environment, independently and remotely

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail 

 

Compensation is offered with this position: $16-40/hr (based on experience)
